Tavern Brawl

As I'm sure you can remember from wars past, solders tend to stop after an event at an Inn or Tavern on the way home to trade epic tales of battle, toast lost loves and missing friends, take a chance with dice and all those other things you'd expect. However, they can be a surly lot, and the people of the town must remain diligent to put down any altercations that may arise!

To that end, youth will be constructing "riot deterrents" throughout the day.

Pre-cut shapes will be available, mostly in the shape of fish, for youth to construct. They may also construct anything else they wish, for example, a frying pan, a loaf of bread, a "mug" of brew. All "riot deterrent" objects must be list legal in construction and materials (foam and duct tape will be provided...youth fighter materials are allowed)

Fighters wishing to "riot" will need to have full gauntlets.

The Brawl will take place during the second break of the TOC.

Prizes will be given for a number of things including:

• Best Shtick during the bawl
• Best/Most fun item constructed Judging to be done by her Majesty

Fish Fight

Youth that have constructed a list-legal fish will be able to partake in the fish fight. It will be a youth marshaled activity. I will be bringing my boffer gear; however, if you have boffer gear, it is far better for you to bring your own.

Find the Treasure

Some of the fun will be hiding under a pile of... something else fun. If you find the prize it's yours. You may play as many times as you like, but there will be a limit on the number prizes that can be won per person.

Other games

A Variety of tag/running/puzzle games will be hosted as children are interested in playing, and as long as children are interested in doing them.

Game tables

Board game tables will be set up to play games like Stratego, Chess, or 9 Man Morse. Modern games are also welcome if that is your fancy. (i.e. BYO-Pokemon or Magic)
